Abby grew up in Sugar Land, Texas where she trained in dance for over 14 years. She graduated from Texas A&M University and began her career in Houston. It was there she met and married her husband Trent and moved to Flower Mound to start a family. When she is not working out or teaching classes, Abby and Trent enjoy spending time with their 3 children, Elizabeth, Drew and Wade and are very active in each of their sports and dance activities.
Abby has always nurtured a passion for fitness, becoming interested in strength training and the importance of properly engaging the body’s core for all of life’s activities. When looking for something new to add to her workout routine, she decided to try a class at The PilatesBarre and instantly fell in love with the challenging classes, inviting studio atmosphere, and great results.
Abby hopes to inspire clients to feel strong and confident about themselves while having fun! When taking her class, expect to be pushed to your maximum potential and inspired by her upbeat playlists and positive energy.
Alex was raised in Plano, Texas where she graduated from Plano West Senior High School. After earning her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California, she moved back to Dallas to begin a career in corporate finance. Having always been active, growing up dancing and trying all different sorts of workouts, Alex decided to leave the corporate world in search of a more balanced, healthy lifestyle. She quickly fell in love with The PilatesBarre method and amazing results it achieves.
Alex is enthusiastic about sharing her passion for Pilates with others and helping clients reach their individual fitness goals. Alex loves how strong, lean and accomplished she feels after each class and loves sharing that feeling with others. Alex is high school history teacher and cheerleading coach, and in her free time she loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking, cheering on her USC Trojans, and taking classes at The PilatesBarre.
April-Liz was born and raised in Memphis, TN, before making her way to Dallas to attend SMU. Her competitive nature and passion for athletics led to an All-American lacrosse title in high school, encouraging her to continue playing lacrosse in college. After playing goalie at SMU, April-Liz searched for a group fitness experience that mimicked the principles learned from athletics - striving for personal bests in a team atmosphere.
After attending classes at The PilatesBarre and The TreadBarre, April-Liz was hooked on the fast-paced, upbeat rhythm of class. Just like being pushed to her limits on the lacrosse field, the TreadBarre and the PilatesBarre pushed her to reach new fitness goals.
April-Liz cannot wait to help transform clients lives by bringing her love of fitness and a healthy lifestyle to each class she teaches. Her passion for music will guarantee an amazing playlist to help you push through an always challenging workout!
Angela grew up in Irving, TX and graduated from University of North Texas. She was an elementary school teacher for 17 years. Angela currently lives in Highland Village with her husband, Phil, and their 4 children. They stay quite busy attending the kid’s football, basketball, baseball and soccer games.
She began her love of health and fitness in high school. She was a cheerleader and soon developed a passion for running, strength training and healthy eating.
She was introduced to The PilatesBarre through friends and was encouraged to come take a class. She was instantly drawn to the workout and started noticing results of muscle definition and flexibility within weeks. And the best part was the high-energy music, lots of variety and the high-calorie burn!
Angela believes The PilatesBarre is for everyone! The classes build strength, confidence, discipline and great relationships with others in the community.
When you come take her class, be prepared for her to want to know more about you! She will encourage you to push to your working zone and break through new barriers. Casey was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where she attended Prestonwood Christian Academy and went on to graduate from Baylor University. Casey has always enjoyed working out and visited studios all over Dallas before finding The TreadBarre and The PilatesBarre. She immediately fell in love because of the challenging, yet rewarding workouts that came with every class as well as the upbeat atmosphere! Casey is excited to meet and get to know her clients and is looking forward to encouraging, motivating and challenging them in their own journey with health and fitness. Casey's passions in life include developing relationships, fitness, wine and trying out new restaurants. In her free time, Casey loves to travel, take classes and spend quality time with her husband, family and friends.
Cayla was born and raised in Southern California before moving to Dallas to attend SMU. She has always enjoyed personal fitness, but had a hard time finding a program she could fall in love with. It wasn't until Cayla was introduced to The PilatesBarre, with a membership gift from her bestie sister-in-law, that she found a workout she could get hooked on. She's been devoted ever since!
Cayla loves helping others on their fitness journeys, no matter how experienced or new to Pilates or TreadBarre they might be. Outside of exercising, Cayla loves cooking, traveling, going to concerts and spending time with her hubby, two pups and friends. In her classes, you can expect a challenging mix of exercises set to an awesome playlist that will have you motivated and energized!
Chandler was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and went on to graduate from TCU. She has always loved fitness, fashion, beauty and staying up-to-date with all of the latest trends. Chandler loves that she is able to have all of her passions rolled into one at The PilatesBarre along with the community that she has become a part of. Chandler loves helping clients reach their fitness goals and help them fall in love with The PilatesBarre in the same way that she has. Outside of The PilatesBarre she loves traveling, going to concerts, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Chantel was born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi where she developed a love and passion for water and fitness. She graduated from the University of Alabama. After working in Chapel Hill, NC, Chantel relocated to Dallas and was looking for a new exercise routine. That’s when she fell in love with The PilatesBarre! Chantel loves the diversity of the workouts and the amazing results from combining The PilatesBarre and Treadbarre classes!

Cheryl is a native to Flower Mound, Texas where she grew up and attended Marcus High School before attending the University of North Texas. Cheryl graduated from nursing school to then pursue a career in trauma/critical care nursing. Discovering The PilatesBarre has enabled her to encourage wellness in and outside of the hospital. She currently works as a nurse and enjoys taking an active role in her community and spending time with her family. Cheryl credits The PilatesBarre with transforming her from the inside out, helping her to strengthen and lengthen muscles while encouraging focus and confidence in ones’ self. She loves introducing new clients to The PilatesBarre with high energy, music and fun.
Cheryl currently resides in Argyle, Texas with her husband Matt and their children Preston, Cooper and Georgia Grace.
Christine grew up in Dallas where she attended Ursuline Academy before graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Communication. She fell in love with fitness when she was introduced to The PilatesBarre's fun but challenging classes. After a career in Human Resources, she realized her real passion lies in the health and fitness world and is excited to share her enthusiasm with others. Outside of The PilatesBarre, Christine loves walking her dog, riding her bike and spending time with family and friends.

Darya spent most of her life traveling, before settling on Dallas and later attending Texas A&M University. She graduated with a degree in finance and has been happily crunching numbers ever since.
In her spare time she loves attending The TreadBarre and The PilatesBarre. Combining a passion for dance and fitness, The PilatesBarre was the perfect fit. Her hobbies include refinishing antique furniture, rescuing animals and laughing at her own jokes.
Elyse was born and raised in Dallas, TX and attended Highland Park High School where she ran track and played soccer. She went on to attend TCU where she grew to love health and fitness. There she was always seeking new workouts and healthy spots to eat! She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is now a full time fourth grade teacher. After years of taking classes, The PilatesBarre still manages to challenge her every time she takes a class! She loves the way The PilatesBarre and The Treadbarre help to lengthen and tone your body.
Outside of The PilatesBarre, Elyse loves to create healthy meals, run outside, and hangout with her friends and family!
Emily was born and raised in Dallas where she attended Highland Park High School and went on to graduate from Ole Miss. She found her way to The PilatesBarre for the first time six years ago with her mom by her side – she was hooked after just one class!
Emily enjoys getting to know her clients at The PilatesBarre and The TreadBarre and hopes to inspire others with her fitness tips, healthy recipes and favorite workout music. Her classes are fun, upbeat and always challenging!
In her free time, Emily enjoys being a mom and wife, cooking, training new TPB instructors, taking classes and spending time with family and friends.
Emma grew up in Southlake Texas and is now at UTA pursuing a degree in communications. She has always had a passion for fitness, style and health. After Emma was introduced to The PilatesBarre she fell in love with Pilates and helping others achieve their goal.

Jessie was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, CA. She attended FIDM in Los Angeles and graduated with a degree in Visual Communications. She always enjoyed staying active with different sports, everything from hiking and kayaking to kickboxing and weight training. She competed in three fitness competitions before her career moved her to Dallas. After her move, she decided to find something new that challenges her, and she fell in love with The PilatesBarre and TreadBarre!
Jessie enjoys helping people to reach their fitness goals and challenging others to find new limits. When she is not teaching at The PilatesBarre, she enjoys working from her home office, cooking and traveling.
Jourdan, a Dallas native, attended The Hockaday School before going north for college. She promptly returned back home after graduation gladly trading the harsh winter weather for our Texas hot summers. Jourdan enjoys trying different workouts and became an avid PilatesBarre and TreadBarre enthusiast after realizing these workouts didn’t feel like work at all because of the energetic classes and great people she met at the studios. When not making fun playlists or teaching classes, she works on residential and commercial projects as an interior designer. And is mom to a beautiful Labrador named Chantilly Lace. She enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and spending time to family and friends.
Julia was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and found her home in DFW before graduating high school. She is currently attending TWU to be a teacher with a focus on special needs. Working with people is her absolute passion and is where she thrives. Julia is a travel junkie to the core and in her free time she loves to push boundaries and explore new places! Fitness and general health has always been a big part of her life and Pilates has drastically changed her journey in every possible way. After starting Pilates she has noticed improvement in balance, flexibility and is constantly being challenged. She is excited to continue to grow and impact others along the way!
Jung grew up in the LA area but has lived in other cities including San Francisco, NYC and most recently, Southlake. She graduated from Columbia University with a degree in math and has been working in the financial services industry. Jung has always loved fitness and was so happy to have found The PilatesBarre in Southlake upon moving to Texas. She loves the physical and mental challenge of Pilates and is excited to share her love of fitness!
In her free time Jung loves to bake, try different types of ethnic cuisine, discover new wine and cheese, and most of all, spend time with her family.
Katie moved to Dallas in August 2018 with her husband, two kids, and two labradoodles from Denver, Colorado. She spent the first eight months trying different boutique studios in Dallas only to find the combo of PilatesBarre and TreadBarre the most effective and fun. Katie was also very happy to find a new fitness community to replace her Denver fitness family.
Katie and her husband have lived in San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver and now Dallas for their careers. Before becoming a mom and Pilates instructor, Katie spent 10 years in commercial banking. Fitness has always been her method of relieving the stress of a demanding career and motherhood. Since everyone leads busy lives and time is scarce, you can always expect Katie to challenge you during a workout and have a great playlist.
Kelly was born and raised in Kansas City and Connecticut where she played tennis and started cheerleading before her family relocated to Dallas and she began high school at Highland Park. Upon graduating, she found a passion as a fashion model and quickly moved to NYC. Fitness and health become apart of her daily routine to keep in shape for her career. During her travels, keeping an exciting and consistently challenging workout routine became difficult for Kelly…until she found The PilatesBarre! Wherever she was, she always enjoyed coming home to Dallas because she knew it meant continuous workouts at her favorite Pilates studio!
Kelly finally decided it was time to move back to Dallas. From then on, she decided to start instructing and through Pilates help others find the importance of how a healthy body equates to a healthy mind! She believes The PilatesBarre is the perfect exercise no matter what age or experience they have. Even after years of taking class, it still continues to be the most fun and challenging workout of all.
She loves to exercise, travel, cook and spend time with her family and friends!
Krista was born and raised in Upstate New York, but landed in Texas with her family - by way of Maryland - in 2015. Keller has become a much-loved home for them!
As a life-long athlete, Krista has been involved with many different fitness programs, but she instantly fell in love with The PilatesBarre. The mental and physical challenge of each exercise can change the body like no other fitness program. Krista likes to focus on proper form in an effort to develop healthy habits and overall strength. And she loves that The PilatesBarre is for all ages and fitness levels, knowing that resistance training is so important for women’s health later in life.
When Krista is not teaching a class or taking a class, she loves to spend time with her husband and 2 girls. She is active in her church and the girls’ schools and activities. She also loves coaching women in their fitness and nutrition journeys.
Lauren is a perfect mix of California and Texas. Living in both states let her experience the best from both, though she ended up choosing Dallas as her home in the end. A mother of three, Lauren is known for her fun presence and is always ready for a good joke. Lauren especially loves interacting with her students and creating a light-hearted, fun, and focused class environment.
Raised in Minneapolis, she went on to graduate from the University of Illinois with a BA in English and then received her MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
Shortly after relocating to Dallas, Lauren met Meghann. They each had their own idea of opening their own Pilates studios. Lauren and Meghann decided to join forces and The PilatesBarre was created.
Lauren loves teaching at The PilatesBarre because she gets to meet so many clients and hear their success stories.

After living in Florida for 7 years, Lo and her husband decided it was time for a change. Lo being a Texas Native, born and raised in The Valley, they decided to move to Dallas to settle down and be closer to family. Wanting to try a new workout routine, Lo took a PilatesBarre class recommended by a friend, where she fell in love, and wanted to become more involved with The PilatesBarre Family. After a career in the Fashion Industry, she decided to try something new, and is excited to share her enthusiasm for Pilates with others. Outside The PilatesBarre, Lo enjoys travelling to see her husband all over the world, working with animal rescue groups, tennis, and styling her long time clients.
Lynnz is originally from De Soto, TX but graduated from Arlington Lamar. Right out of high school she started fitness modeling for Altus Athletics. Lynnz played soccer and softball in high school and has always been very active. She loves running and weight training but has found that doing Pilates has leaned her out and transformed her body in the best way!
Lynnz is married with 3 kids. They all followed their love for soccer and her weekends are consumed watching them play.
Madeline is a Texas gal through and through, Dallas is her middle name... literally! During her time at SMU Madeline discovered her love for PilatesBarre! With a background in dance, cheer and Pilates, Madeline incorporates the importance of form to maximize all PilatesBarre exercises and movements. Madeline loves to bring encouraging music and inspiration to her classes. When she’s not in the studio, Madeline is a mental health therapist - mind/body connection is so important! Madeline loves to needlepoint, fly fish and hang with her husband and dogs on the latest Dallas patios.
Though born in Oklahoma, Maggie considers Dallas her home. She graduated from DFW Performing Arts Conservatory and went on to receive her BA in Theology from The King's University. From the moment she began working as a front desk associate at The PilatesBarre, she discovered her passion for Pilates.
Maggie strives to help others discover (and rediscover!) their excitement for health, fitness, and self-care through fun, engaging, and challenging classes. Full disclosure: she spends way too much time creating the perfect workout playlists for her classes.
When she's not at the studio, Maggie enjoys experimenting with new recipes, playing with her pup, lip-syncing like a pro, going to bed at a very reasonable hour (gotta get that beauty rest!), and planning her wedding this Fall.

Meghann is known for pushing her students, she knows what kind of instruction they need to reach the next level. She does this by having something new to teach each class and making it digestible for both first-time students and veterans of The PilatesBarre. She is the perfect instructor for both advanced and beginner level students, as she knows every detail of each move and position.
Meghann was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and moved to Dallas, TX in pursuit of her business degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU). From an early age, Meghann was on the move – dancing, tumbling, and playing tennis. However, Meghann's true passion for fitness developed during her years at SMU, where she was exposed to numerous activities and exercises that would begin to transform her life.
Post-graduation, Meghann pursued a career in corporate marketing and recruiting, but after a couple of years, Meghann knew that the "spark" was missing and decided to follow her passion for fitness, specifically, Pilates.
Meghann completed the Stott Pilates training in Dallas, New York, and Miami. Through her extensive, contemporary training, Meghann gained the critical knowledge to ensure proper form is achieved by all her clients. She has also learned how to create proper modifications to work around injuries and body constraints.
With her lifelong passion for Pilates, and after meeting Lauren, starting The PilatesBarre organically happened. Meghann appreciates the links between traditional Pilates exercises and resistance training in a group setting with amped-up music! To say that music is a passion of Meghann's is an understatement. She is constantly on the search for the latest and greatest playlists to keep up the BEAT in her energetic classes and take your ability to the next level!
Favorite Exercise at The PilatesBarre: Super Lunge and Giant Spoon
Molly is originally from the Chicago area but has called Southlake, Texas home now for the past 11 years. She is a former Special Education teacher and group fitness instructor. She began her fitness career teaching many different classes from kickboxing to body sculpting. It was after her first class at The PliatesBarre than she realized the amazing body changing results that could happen in this workout. She was hooked and wanted to share her passion by becoming an instructor. She pays close attention to form and makes sure each client feels challenged and motivated in her classes.
In her free time she loves spending time with her family, traveling, outdoor activities, walking her dog, and watching movies on the couch.
Morgan was born and raised in the Grapevine/Colleyville area. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Merchandising. After graduation, Morgan opened a clothing and accessory boutique in Colleyville with her mom. Morgan grew up cheering and dancing and when she found The PilatesBarre she instantly fell in love and hasn’t been able to get enough since!
Morgan has had a strong passion for health and felt that teaching at The PilatesBarre would be a great addition to her lifestyle. Morgan currently lives in Euless with her fiancé, Andrew, and her two French bulldogs, Ted and Sue. When Morgan isn’t teaching at the PilatesBarre you can find her working at her boutique or spending time with friends and family!
Paige has valued fitness and exercise for its physical and mental attributes her entire life. She enjoys running, yoga, group fitness, and of course classes at The PilatesBarre. Proper fitness fundamentals, form and practice were engrained in Paige at an early age with her mother owning an aerobic studio.
Curious about The PilatesBarre and looking for something new to add to her normal routine, Paige took a few classes at The PilatesBarre and was hooked! Taking full advantage of her membership, she started attending classes every day. Each routine has something new to offer and you become stronger after every class. Now as an instructor, Paige loves to create challenging classes with upbeat music and constant variety.
Shelby is a Dallas native who graduated from The University of Oklahoma. Her Pilates journey began in college, as a supplemental exercise to prevent her from getting injured while dancing. After moving back home to Dallas, she found The PilatesBarre and hasn't looked back.
Growing up as a gymnast and a dancer, fitness and movement have played a major role in her lifestyle. She loves the combination of the cardio in TreadBarre + the toning in PilatesBarre and how well they transform and energize your body.
Now as an instructor, Shelby integrates her outgoing personality and knowledge of the body into each of her classes!
Outside of The PilatesBarre, Shelby loves puns, video production, ice cream, and making her friends laugh.
Shelly Hodge grew up in Maryland and has lived in several different states since then. She has lived in different parts of Texas for over 8 years. She, her husband, and two children moved to Denton in the summer of 2017 where she first tried The PilatesBarre! After her first class, she was hooked on the challenging and effective, upbeat, low-impact workout. She attended classes for almost a year and decided that she wanted to be able to share the great workouts with others on their fitness and wellness journeys by becoming an instructor. Shelly enjoys having both new and experienced participants in class and is excited for all to be challenged by a workout that is appropriate for their level of fitness. She hopes to see YOU in class soon (you may even find her working out next to you unless you are attending her class)!
Shelly has loved fitness and wellness since she was a child and also has a passion for teaching and helping others improve their wellness. She has taught a variety of health and fitness activities over the past 20 years including: cheerleading, gymnastics, swimming, cpr, lifeguarding, personal training, and group exercise classes such as yoga, cycling, kickboxing, water fitness, HIIT, and pilates.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Nutrition from James Madison University and a Master of Public Health from East Tennessee State University. After college she worked in University Recreation Centers and University Health Centers for 8 years. More recently she has enjoyed working part-time as an instructor and full-time as an active mom, keeping up with her kid's and husband's activities. Her family enjoys participating in many different athletic sports and dance classes, as well as cheering on UNT Athletics.
Tara hails from the East Coast! She grew up in Pennsylvania, but spent her adulthood in New York City. Originally pursuing dance and theater, post-college she found her love and career in the fitness industry. Tara promises to inspire and motivate her PilatesBarre clients to have the best body imaginable in the healthiest way, all while having fun!
Taylor was born and raised in Dallas where she attended Highland Park High School. She went on to attend Ole Miss where she graduated with her degrees in elementary education. She works as a full time kindergarten teacher now but has discovered that health and fitness are her real passion. When’s she’s not at The PilatesBarre, Taylor likes to shop, spend time with family and friends and travel.
Whitney was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. She came to Dallas to attend and eventually graduate from Southern Methodist University.
Whitney has a true passion for living a healthy lifestyle. She has enjoyed running for many years and found The PilatesBarre when she was looking for a fun way to strength train to prevent injury. She instantly became addicted. Whitney is extremely eager to share her love for Pilates, with her new clients, and get them as excited about the workout as she is.
In her free time, Whitney loves to run the Katy trail, brunch with her friends, find creative and healthy recipes, and watch old movies.
